Medina Youth Gridiron is excited to offer a robust flag football program to our community. MYG knows the foundation of youth sports is more than just learning the fundamentals. It’s about being a part of a team and, most importantly, having fun. That’s why each NFL FLAG league is designed to give boys and girls of all abilities a chance to learn, play—and have a blast doing it. Seasonal options include Spring and Fall programs with team age brackets of 5/6 years old, 7/8-year-olds, and 9/10-year-olds.

MYG offers tackle programs that afford the youth of the area an opportunity to engage in healthy competition with proper physical training, adequate protective equipment, and qualified adult guidance. In partnership with the Ohio Gridiron Youth Football Association, MYG takes pride in building well-rounded athletes in a safe, supportive environment, while fostering a love of the game and a sound foundation in tackle techniques. Most tackle programs start fundamental work in late summer prior to games being played. MYG offers teams for grades 1st through 6th grade of the fall calendar year.

Medina Youth Gridiron proudly offers the sideline environment to our youth through our cheer programs. Athletes experience a game-time environment, and learn technique in motions, jumps, sideline cheers, and chants, with the opportunity to perform halftime routines, and welcome cheers for visiting teams and fans. MYG offers cheer teams for grades 1st through 6th grade of the fall calendar year.
