With the support of the NFL, we provide a structured opportunity for kids to discover the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and friendship—both on and off the field.
MYG Fall 2023 NFL Flag Football Information
**Age cut-off date for Each division is August 1, 2023.**
5 and 6 must be NO older than 6 years old by August 1, 2023.
7 and 8 must be NO older than 8 years old by August 1, 2023.
9 and 10 must be NO older than 10 years old by August 1, 2023.
Team Practices - Determined by coaches
Games: All games played at Ken Dukes Stadium
First Games - 8/13/23
No games on Labor Day weekend
Championship Games - 10/29/23
8+ Games per team for the season/playoffs
No Coaching or Teammate Requests. We will accommodate one Head Coach + child and one Assistant Coach + child per team.
Team-specific uniforms will be ordered for your child shortly after registration ends. Team and roster changes cannot be made after the final purchase.

Meet your Flag Board Directors and Field Staff
Typically all that is needed for a child to participate in flag football is cleats
The league provides, shorts, dual sided jersey, and flags for every participant in the league
Coaches of the current season set practices schedules, typically one to two times a week depending on the need of the team. Typically, teams practice for about 45 minutes to an hour per practices session, and then the game itself is usually an hour or less.
Games are held at our local high school turf field, and typically occur on Sundays during season, weather permitting. Times for games are rotated per age group. Schedules are released shortly after season practices begin.
