About Cheer

MYG Cheer

Our mission is to empower youth athletes and instill a lifelong passion for cheerleading through our program that is engaging, fun, and accessible for everyone. MYG takes pride in building well-rounded athletes in a safe, supportive environment while fostering a love of the sport and a sound foundation in cheerleading techniques.

Team Availabilities

Most cheer programs start practices work in late summer prior to games being played. MYG offers teams for grades 1st through 6th grade of the fall calendar year. 

Fall 2023 Registration is CLOSED!

Schedule Commitments

Team Practices - TBD (determined by the coach of the team)

Early Fall 2023- squad practices and season begin

Fall Cheer 2023 (1st-6th grade)

***IMPORTANT!! PLEASE REGISTER BASED ON THE GRADE YOUR CHEERLEADER WILL BE IN THIS FALL 2023*** (EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE FOR SIBLINGS WITHIN 2 YEARS.)

Schedule of Upcoming Important Dates

Uniform Fitting Day - Sunday, June 11th

Varsity High School Cheer Camp - June 26-28 (Cost: $25--More information coming soon)

 Condition Day -July 25th

 Team Practices - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting August 1st, during the hours of 5-7:30. Practices last 1.5 hours.

Season Games: Played on Saturdays - TBA usually end of August last weekend / Times TBA

Competition Squad

This season we will be opening up the competition squad to third (3rd) grade through seventh (7th) grade cheerleaders. If your daughter would like to participate on the competition squad, you will see a $10 charge to cover extra fees for the event. More information will come, once registration closes. 

Cost for Cheerleading Program

Cost Cheerleader -- $150 Includes uniform (shell, skirt, brief, socks, bow, and Poms)

8 Game Season (Plus Possible Playoff Games)

Kindergarten Flag (Kindergarten)

Cost: $30

7 on 7 modified tackle (1st/2nd grade)

Cost: $150

Freshman 9 vs 9 modified tackle (3rd grade)

Cost: $150

Sophomore tackle (4th grade)

Cost: $150

JV 5th grade tackle (5th grade)

Cost: $150

Varsity 6th grade tackle (6th grade)

Cost: $150
